Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to identify suspicious behavior, cyber threats, and fraud indicators.
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents, fraud cases, and data breaches to determine root causes, scope, and business impact.
- Analyze trends and patterns in cyber threats and fraudulent activities to design and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Implement, manage, and optimize security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications.
- Collaborate closely with IT and risk teams to ensure security best practices are consistently applied across infrastructure.
- Develop, review, and enforce cybersecurity and fraud prevention policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Stay current with emerging cyber risks, threat intelligence, and regulatory requirements affecting the financial sector.
- Prepare detailed investigation reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for management review.
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness and fraud prevention training for staff across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in active financial fraud analysis with a strong IT and cybersecurity background.
- Proven hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies, including:
- SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)
- DAM (Database Activity Monitoring)
- PAM (Privileged Access Management)
- NDR (Network Detection and Response)
- XDR (Extended Detection and Response)
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication abilities.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
